Quarry House Vets, a locally-owned mixed animal practice in Devon, is looking for an experienced registered veterinary nurse to join its team.

This RCVS-accredited practice treats small animals and exotic pets. It is a certified Cat Friendly Clinic, a veterinary nurse training practice, and is recognised by RWAF for its rabbit welfare.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience, and will be clinically competent.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career, as you support our veterinary surgeon team with surgical and medical cases – including exotics. You will be conducting nurse consultations at our Torquay branch and assist with vet consultations at our other two branches, with some light reception duties as required, at all three clinics.

You will also be responsible for organising nurse, weight and senior pet clinics, as well as puppy parties.

The work rota is Monday-Friday, with no out-of-hours past 7pm. You may work some Saturday mornings or past 5pm, but will receive time off in lieu.
