Daisy Street Veterinary Centre is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis, working 14-28 hours per week. There is potential for this role to become full-time.

You will be providing nursing care for the practice’s small animal clients. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, vaccinations and treatments as directed, maintaining accurate patient records, and upholding hygiene standards by sterilising equipment and treatment areas.

You will work alongside veterinarians in their daily role, assisting with appointments, surgical preparations, post-operative care, and monitoring anaesthesia. You will also support the processing of laboratory work, radiography and ultrasound examinations.

This role is ideal for someone with prior veterinary experience, who can work efficiently both independently and as a multi-disciplinary team. You will demonstrate a compassionate nature, excellent organisational skills, and the flexibility to adapt to the varying workloads and emergency situations within the practice. Strong communication skills are essential, as you liaise with clients and team members about treatment plans and aftercare instructions.

In return, you will be able to work a rota that suits your lifestyle – with no OOHs or weekends. You will be joining a small, friendly team of six RVNs, and the practice is owned by two veterinary surgeons.
