RCVS publishes annual review footage

Keeping members informed from every angle

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has reviewed its year using a series of short videos for the first time.

Part one of its annual report, the RCVS Review footage shows six people who have been involved in, or affected by, the college over the past year, speaking of its activities.

There is also an introductory video, which provides a compilation of all the contributors, as well as two further videos of RCVS vice-president Jacqui Molyneux and CEO Nick Stace giving their comments.

The collection of footage has been published alongside the usual printed edition of RCVS Review. Part two of the report – RCVS Facts – can be downloaded here
.

Click here to visit the RCVS YouTube page, where all nine videos can be viewed.

New form for online veterinary medicines retailers

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has produced a new online form for retailers wishing to sell veterinary medicines on the internet.

The form replace the previous Word version and is part of the VMD's ongoing commitment to digitise its processes. Anyone retailing prescription medicines online, including POM-V, POM-VPS and NFA-VPS categories, is lawfully required to register with the VMD before trading.

The change only applies to new applicants. Retailers already listed on the VMD's Register of Online Retailers or registered under the Accredited Internet Retailer Scheme (AIRS) do not need to do anything.
