The British Veterinary Nursing Association has approved its new officer team for the coming year:
- President: Lyndsay Hughes
- Senior vice-president: Charlotte Pace
- Junior vice-president: Craig Tessyman
- Honorary treasurer: Sarah Holliday
- Honorary secretary: Kim Rathbone
The new team will be formally ratified during the AGM on Sunday, 8 October at BVNA Congress.
Outgoing president Charlotte Pace said: “With our ongoing campaigns working towards legislative change, which include statutory protection of the ‘veterinary nurse’ title, it is an exciting time to be a BVNA member.”

Two independent vets have launched a podcast to help owners strengthen their bond with pets. Dr Maggie Roberts and Dr Vanessa Howie, who have worked in both veterinary practice and major charities, are keen to use their experience to enable people to give pets a better life.
