Keepers at London Zoo are preparing for the annual weigh-in of the zoo’s animals, which is set to take place on Thursday, 24 August.
More than 14,000 animals will have their heights and weights recorded, including penguins, tigers, and gorillas.
Angela Ryan, head of zoological operations at London Zoo, said: “Having this data helps to ensure that every animal we care for is healthy, eating well, and growing at the rate they should - a key indicator of health and wellbeing.”
